Create Probe Group

Go to Probe Group Creation

Click Synthetic Tasks.

Click Probe Group Management, and then click New.

Create a Probe Group

Choose a Probe Group name that is easy to identify. You can name it by region and carrier, for example: Provincial Capital Cities - Three Major Carriers.

Add a description for the Probe Group, such as whether it contains Private Probes or other configuration notes.

Select Probes

Save

Preview the Probe Group

Use the Probe Group When Creating a Task

After the Probe Group is created, it can be selected when creating a new task.

Create a Probe Group from a Task

You can also create a Probe Group from another entry point: the Probe Scope module on the Create Task page. Click the creation entry in this module to create a new Probe Group. After it is created, the Probe Group can be used directly.

The entry point is different, but the remaining configuration is the same as described above.
