Ping Task 100 Percent Packet Loss

Problem description

Ping an IPv6 address and found that all packet losses were 100%

Problem analysis

(1) Instant Testing recurrence
The customer uses Instant Testing, and it can still be reproduced using Instant Testing.

(2) View during packet capture
During the packet capture, the server has been sending RST packets rejecting reconnection.

(3) PING by other methods
Try using TCPing

Data is normal, packet loss is zero percent

Problem summary

1.

ICMPing is disabled on the customer IP
2.TCPing data is normal
3.Instant Testing uses ICMPing by default, so an error is reported.
